Neighbourhood Panels

How would you know if we were doing all the things we say we will?

That's where our Neighbourhood Panels come in. We have two panels, one covers the Basingstoke and Test Valley area - where we have two thirds of our homes - and the second covers Hart, Rushmoor and the surrounding districts.

Meeting minutes

Who's on the committee?

Each panel is made up of 12 residents nominated by other residents to represent the local community, and in particular to check progress on our local neighbourhood plans for each community in our area.

There are currently vacancies for new members. Find out more.

When do they meet?

See our online calendar for meeting detailsAny resident can attend the monthly area panel meeting. For information on where and when these meetings are, visit our Events Calendar.

These panels also nominate members to join STARA (Sentinel Tenants and Residents Association).  STARA meets monthly to work on issues affecting all Sentinel residents, such as reviewing policies, budgets and service delivery.

If you would like more information about the Neighbourhood Panel for your area please contact Richard Pilbeam on 0800 195 5515 from a landline or 0300 666 5515 from your mobile or e: richard.pilbeam@sentinelha.org.uk

National Tenant Voice Advert

A new organisation has been created to give residents in housing association-rented homes a bigger say in national policies affecting their lives.

The National Tenant Voice will engage with government departments, regulators and other agencies to discuss the main issues, and is made up of a council of 50 residents.

It’s early days yet, and a panel has been appointed to oversee these new national tenant representatives, but to find out more email: nationaltenantvoice@communities.gsi.gov.uk
