Sentinel by numbers

·     Sentinel Housing Association is north Hampshire’s biggest landlord, with more than 7,600 homes, concentrated in Basingstoke, Fleet, Aldershot and Farnborough.

·     Only one in 20 of our homes doesn’t meet the government’s Decent Homes target to improve living standards, compared to one in 12 social rented homes in the South East.

·     Our one-stop shop Customer Service Centre has dealt with 1m calls in the last five years.

·     We invest 19% of our turnover on major upgrades and repairs, from new kitchens and bathrooms to new boilers, and rewiring works.

·     There are 22 ways for customers to get involved with Sentinel, from joining a focus group to designing our homes, and even helping run the company.

·     Sentinel employs 200 staff at two offices in Fleet and Basingstoke, allowing us to stay close to our customers.

·     We pioneered the inclusion of armed forces personnel to qualify for key worker homes.

·     76% of shared owners are happy with Sentinel, compared to 63% for other housing associations.
