Fun, fun, fun for the whole family

Circus skills, face painting and football coaching are just some of the fun activities that will be on offer at the Family Fun Days taking place at Hartley Wintney and Sherfield-on-Loddon this week.

Organised by Sentinel Housing Association, the free events are open to the whole community and are aimed at providing fun days out for the whole family. The events will take place on:

  • Thursday 24 August between 11am and 2pm at Sherfield-on-Loddon Village Hall and on the Green
  • Friday 25 August between 11am and 2pm at the playing fields in Mitchell Avenue, Hartley Wintney. 


Other entertainment taking place on the days will include a Teddy Bears Picnic, sports equipment, balloon race and music and dance. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided and the events will also be attended by the local Fire Brigade, Police and St.Johns Ambulance.

Sentinels Neighbourhood Manager Louise Price, said: As part of our work with local neighbourhoods, we have organised two fun days aimed at providing a good fun day out for all the family.  Therell be plenty to do for all the family and anyone is welcome to come and join in the fun and talk to us about their neighbourhood.
