How do I apply for a job?

1. Application Form

The application form will only be used to enable us to give each candidate equal consideration based on the information they have included in their application.  You need to fill in all parts of the form.  The E&D monitoring form will be detached prior to your application being assessed. 

Please ensure that you are eligible to work in the UK before completing the application form.

CV’s will only be accepted as supporting documents and not instead of your application form.

We will make special provisions if you have a disability which makes filling in an application form difficult for you.  Please let us know if you need us to make adjustments for you.

Only those involved in the recruitment process will have access to your form.  It will be treated confidentially.

2. Employment Checks

Any offer of employment that we make to you will be on the basis that you meet all our pre-employment checks (eg: medical clearance/references/CRB check)

3. Short Listing

We will use the information from your application form and additional documents when we short list you for interview.  We will primarily use the person specification and Sentinel’s core competencies as our comparison tools.
We will let you know if you have been successful or not at every stage of the recruitment process.

4. Interviewing

We use interviews as our main method of selection and may require candidates to complete relevant, job related, tests. 

We will let you know prior to your interview if any other recruitment tools will be used.
