Curtis Court, Church Crookham
Curtis Court is a small development of 27 flats for people over 60 with some support needs in Church Crookham.
These new homes completed in November 2011.
These new properties are based in the Hart District Council area so if you are interested in renting one of these homes you should first register on the Hart District Council housing list. If you are eligible and when you have registered you will then be able to bid on a Curtis Court property using Hart's Choice Based Lettings scheme.
We were granted planning permission to transform this 0.4 hectare site in March 2010. We already owned the site but it had previously been used for bed-sit accommodation which was no longer fit for purpose.
The design was chosen as it promotes high quality independent living in a similar way to our new Fleet Extra Care scheme, Campbell Place.
24 of the flats have two bedrooms and three have one bedroom. The site includes on-site car parking, bicycle storage, electric buggy storage and communal seating areas.
This development was funded by £1.08million from the HCA and £350,000 Recycled Capital Grant funding. £31,000 was set aside to protect Woodlarks, Dartford Warblers and Nightjars in the area.
