Oakfern Residents' Forum

What is Oakfern Residents Forum?
The Residents Forum is made up of all tenants, leaseholders and residents groups within the Basingstoke management areas of Sentinel Housing Association who elect representatives to serve their interests on the Oakfern Residents' Forum Committee. The Forum is one of the main representative bodies for tenants and leaseholders within Sentinel Housing, the other being Hart Tenants & Leaseholders Federation Committee. The main aims of the Forum are to represent the interests of all tenants and leaseholders, promote discussions between tenants, leaseholders, other residents and Sentinel, to monitor the standard of service, examine and review policies and protect the rights of tenants and leaseholders.

How does the Forum work?
All residents within the Basingstoke management areas of Sentinel Housing Association can attend forum meetings. All tenants and leaseholders in the Basingstoke management areas of Sentinel Housing Association take part in a postal ballot to elect the committee members. Two committee members are elected to serve on the Sentinel Board of Management.

When does the Forum meet?
The Forum meets on the first Wednesday of every month, at our Basingstoke office, to discuss various issues that are of importance to tenants and leaseholders.
