All you need to know about checking your rent statement online

Log in -

Here you need to enter your username and password. You will only have a username and password if you have applied for an account. Both the username and password are case sensitive. Keep your password safe.

Apply -

You need to apply to activate your account the first time you visit statements online.

'My Accounts' Balance -

This shows the current balance of your account and the names of the account(s) that you have active. If you add another account the balance will not dsplay until the account is activated. You will be sent the activation code in the post, please allow four working days.

Add another Account -

You can select this if you would like to add another Sentinel account, such as a garage. If you do not want to show the two accounts together you can complete a separate application from the login page. This means that you would have two logins and two passwords.

Viewing the statement -

The statement gives a description of the transaction as it would appear on your paper statement. If you are unaware of what the description is, please call the Customer Service Centre on 0800 195 5515 during office hours.

You will also see whether your account is in debit (arrears) or credit. If you are in arrears please make sure you make a payment, or if you are having problems paying your rent contact the Sentinel Rent Recovery team.

Searching Statements -

You can view the last 180 transactions on your statement. To help you, either use the calendar picker to select a different date range or you type the date in manually; the format is DD/MM/YYYY.

Please remember that transactions can take up to four working days to display on the statement. The most recent transaction is always shown first. Please remember to allow four working days for a payment  to appear.
