Meet your neighbourhood team

Your neighbourhood has a dedicated team of staff offering expert advice and support to help you and your family make the most of your home and community.

Neighbourhood Manager

Melissa Chapman is your Neighbourhood Manager. Melissa manages the Team and is responsible for the local Neighbourhood Plan. Melissa also has the policy lead for the following :

• Tenancy
• Mutual Exchange
• Youth Engagement including “Get With”

Neighbourhood Co-ordinators

There are three Neighbourhood Co-ordinators who help with all aspects of tenancy management from getting you set up in your new home to resolving nuisance behaviours issues and keeping your neighbourhoods clean and tidy. They work closely with other agencies to make your neighbourhood a great place to live. Your Neighbourhood Co-ordinators are always pleased to hear your views and thoughts on any ideas you have for how to improve your homes and communities.

• Julie Williams – Old Basing, Rooksdown and areas of Oakridge
• Lyndsey Higson – Freemantle, Westray and Taverner and parts of South View
• Mary Curtis – Crown Heights, Longbourn Place and some of Oakridge and South View

Arrears Recovery

Shaun Parmar is your Arrears Recovery Officer and is responsible for all aspects of rent income. He can offer support and advice if you are experiencing financial difficulties and can point you in the direction of other agencies that can provide more specialist help. As a last resort Shaun will take legal action if you do not pay your rent.

Team Administrator

The Team Administrator is Sandra Crook. There are few aspects of our work that Sandra is not involved in at some point from maintenance of our housing management system, producing newsletters, posters and flyers, arranging meetings and assisting with diary and deadline management.

Repairs and Maintenance

The Property Services Department look after all aspects of repair and maintenance and environmental improvements. Staff from Property Services work very closely with your Neighbourhood Co-ordinators and the Neighbourhood Manager.

Neighbourhood plan
